NAVAR is the method for a woman to create her own personal look – be it playful or sexy, conservative or a little daring.

Designer Nithya R. Karia has had a long time love affair with fashion. Finally finding a meeting point between fashion and function, she introduces her line – Navar.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Art History from New York University. She studied at the Paris Fashion Institute and the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, just before earning her design degree from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Working under fashion legends like Donna Karan and Gucci, she stepped behind the scenes and gained industry insight.

Landing a design position with Theory, Nithya focused her skills in women’s wovens and developed an aesthetic for clean lines with impeccable fit. Her next move to Giorgio Armani, as an assistant buyer, fine-tuned her understanding of the market and the needs of a luxury driven customer.

Her combination of talent and passion truly creates a unique and beautiful product.
